50th Anniversary commemorative display to be unveiled on June 4th

The Thomson Alumni Committee will officially unveil their major project, the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Wall Display, on Monday June 4th at 7:30 pm.

The wall is located on the 2nd floor main hallway outside the auditorium balcony door, overlooking the main entrance of the school.

The committee grateful acknowledges the work of our digital creator, Gayle Hurmuses, and the leadership of Bob Doi, Mr. Stanley Farrow, and many others in the creation of this impressive display.

Hi Bob:
I was wondering if there was any agenda for the 50th Anniversary Display on June 4th. I’d like to try to be there on Monday if I can. If you have any further information, please let me know.

It’s great to find this website. Laura Doi was the best buddy I had at school. I’m really sad to find that my school is going to be taken down though. As we get older, too many of the landmarks we remember from our childhood start to disappear.

Sad to see my old high school is being torn down. That is me in the bottom right hand corner of the 1987 page in the commemorative display…standing by my locker with the good old CFNY bumper sticker (which is now 102.1 the Edge for those who don’t know). I was going thru my Molly Ringwald phase LOL LOL LOL. I was surprised to see this. Thanks Thomson!!!!!
P.S My hair is a lot different now!
