NEWS UPDATE, NOVEMBER 27th:
According to a reliable source, the revised estimate for opening of the new school is Tuesday December 10. Apparently the move from the old school building will occur over 4-day break period, with Friday December 6 designated as a P.A. Day and Monday December 9 as Moving Day, and students welcomed to the new building the following day, December 10th. These revised plans were announced on November 27th and are subject to change.

NEWS UPDATE, NOVEMBER 28th:
Urban Toronto has published an interesting news article about planned redevelopment on the Thomson-Bendale lands.

The principal of David and Mary Thomson Collegiate has sent a notice to all families announcing that the opening of the new school building — originally scheduled for September — has been delayed for indefinite period. Read the letter below:
